"In Geneva, the U.N. Human Rights Council heard a direct appeal for Pastor Saeed from the European Union.
In Washington, D.C., a House of Representatives Human Rights Commission heard directly from me, from ACLJ Executive Director Jordan Sekulow, and – through her tears – from Pastor Saeed's wife, Naghmeh.
After the meeting, Jordan, Naghmeh and I met directly with high-level State Department officials, and they pledged to take action.
As busy as we were nationally and internationally on behalf of Pastor Saeed, we also filed new briefs against the HHS abortion pill mandate, fought hard to halt aid to Muslim Brotherhood Egypt, and defended the right of Christian student groups to meet on campus.
And that was just the past seven days.” - ACLJ
